For 1 Cup:

1/2 Cup Water

1/2 tsp Cardamom Masala

1/2 tbsp Black Tea

1/2 Cup Milk or Milk Alternative

1-2 tsp Sugar (Optional)




  1. Place the water, masala, tea & sugar in a pan and place on a medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour through a sieve and into your cup. Place in the fridge/freezer and leave for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Remove from the fridge, pour over ice, add milk, stir and enjoy your refreshing iced masala chai!
